COVID-19 Contact Tracing was a very detailed course that provided the learner with the basics of what is known about the disease and effective ways in which the tracer could communicate and engage patients and their loved ones. I would recommend this course to those who are wanting to become contact tracers and those who would like to know the behind-the-scenes of a potential tracer.

I love this course. I learned a lot., the teacher was very clear with all the information. I just have to review some of the question. And very, very informative. I think it should be mandatory for every one to take this course whether or not you want to become a contact tracer. Thank you for putting this together. the course covered everything one would have to possess skill wise to be a competent contact tracer. I am satisfied with the course, although I claimed it was easy, one has to take into consideration that I have been studying psychology for the past four years and studied business for three years, and I am still in school getting ready for graduate work. This course gives me options.

I feel I really learned a lot about the Virus, and all of the steps that go into protecting the public. I really appreciated the way this course was laid out and outlined the history, the methods and the skills needed to be a contact tracer. Having a background in Counseling Therapy and health and nutrition, I was easily able to apply my knowledge skills to contract tracing positions. I am very excited about prospect of doing something extra to mitigate the spread during of COVID-19.

As a former teacher, at both secondary and college level, I appreciated the clear presentation and organization of information, the pacing of lessons and immediate reinforcement of quizzes, the videos of examples, the contrast of right ways and wrong ways, the graphs to show tracking and timelines, and the emphasis on terms. Clear and useful information for becoming a tracer but also to understand the logic of the questions behind when becoming infected. This course provided pertinent information in reference to precautionary measures, onset of symptoms, duration of mild Covid 19 illness, testing, and contact tracing procedures. I would also recommend this course to anyone interested in receiving information on onset of symptoms, covid 19 detection, usual duration of mild Covid 19, and steps to complete when illness has intensified.

This course provides a clear set of definitions, processes and communications exercises for enabling successful engagement with people who are cases and contacts, so management of the infection is methodical. It is a great course for getting acquainted with customary practices for global public health and should be a contribution to getting the world to understand and advance #SDG3.

This was a very easy format to maneuver through. The explanations of what skills are needed for the job of Contact tracer were very detailed and many scenarios presented that offered excellent tips on effective communication and listening. I felt educated on the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the role of a contact tracer (which i did not know existed until this pandemic). I look forward to increasing my education about the disease and being a vessel/utility toward the extinction of this virus. In addition to case finding, contact tracing is essential in tracking and breaking chains of transmission of COVID-19. This course confirmed much of what I already knew -- including active listening skills that I was trained in decades ago. Of course, there were many things I didn't know. This course is engaging and detailed..Also, I did not completely understand all the technical words before taking the course so, I am glad that I invested time in it. The instructor is able to clearly explain the curse content, which I really appreciate. A mastery of Contact Tracing skills is so critical for a successful outcome. I feel like my interviewing skills were re-examined!

The course was very easy to follow and there was a lot of detailed information. I would recommend anyone to take this course. This was a little more work than I anticipated but well worth the effort. VERY well presented and the tests instruments were helpful. I would recommend to anyone that wants to assist with the contact tracing. Also good for someone that wants to learn about the infectious period of CoVid19. I loved COVID-19 Contact Tracing, an outstanding course, created to improve health and save lives. Each well explained video is followed by a quiz to consolidate what you’ve learnt, which makes the journey immensely engaging. Professor Emily Gurley is marvelous, she is calm, highly knowledgeable and strategic. Thank you Johns Hopkins University and Coursera for making it possible.

The course was very informative, educational and enhanced the skills which I already possess. I did enjoy taking it and liked the way modules were presented and then quizzed to reinforce the information given. Some sections were a little difficult but explained very clearly. I have already given this website to several other people that I know would be excellent Contact Tracers.

Very good course, sometimes with the initial intro screens to each module, it is a bit confusing? The same screen appears 2/3 times before actual lecture.

Enjoyed the content, very interesting especially the information on how to handle cases who may be reluctant or cant provide contact data. Very good course, excellent source for adult learning with learning being the true goal.

This made me more informed about Covid-19. I feel, at the very least, everyone should take this course to provide themselves with a base understanding of what is known so far.
