What I love most about this course is it has taught me things about the SARS-COV2 virus that I never would have known. This was an exceptional course, well written, easy to understand and follow and learn complex information. The vignettes and scenarios helped me to understand the complexities of communication in obtaining crucial information from cases and contacts, to educate them and to obtain their cooperation to complete isolation and quarantine time frames. The course is thoughtfully and thoroughly designed. It's a rare course from Coursera that I've completed - largely due to the fantastic pacing sequencing, and learning design. Specifically the ungraded open ended questions and th within course checks have made this interactive. Thereby, covering up for the lack of verbal engagement with either another learner or the facilitator.

This is such an awesome course with clear and informative instruction. The live video scenarios are an extra bonus that you can relate to and they provide you with various ways to answer questions that could have been challenging without having the information. I feel so much better personally for having taken the course and having more insight on what is going on with Covid-19.

I enjoyed taking this course. I feel that I knew a lot of information about COVID-19 before I started the course, so some of the COVID information was a review for me. I did learn a lot of additional information especially on specific terms and how to become a successful contact tracer. Overall I found the course to be relatively easy and very informative! Definitely recommend!

Informational and easy to navigate. I learned what CDC Guidelines were and are currently being used to determine when a case can stop isolating, tips for keeping an interview on track, and some general good practices when in health or social services settings. I earned my BA in Community Health in 2019, and this was a great review of some topics and ideas covered in my studies!

The material and information presented was easy to follow and interesting. I enjoyed the fact that there was little to no unnecessary background music distraction. It was awesome to have so many visual and audio elements of the training; The information was easier to absorb because you could see the text, hear the text and see graphics to illustrate and reinforce the content.

This course was well done. The format and assessments along the way were helpful and informative. I highly recommend anyone wanting to learn more about COVID-19 to take this course!! This course was very helpful. Unfortunately, there do not seem to be any opportunities to use this for employment or volunteer work locally. This is mostly because there isn't a huge need currently in my state. However, it was helpful if for no other reason than to calm some of my irrational fears around transmission of Covid-19 and the fears of my close associates and friends.

A very good course. I would recommend it to everyone. I enjoyed the history behind COVID, the characteristics of the disease, the methods shared to identify the disease, and set a proper quarantine and isolation period, on top of the many other things shared. Despite COVID being an ongoing issue, this is a good place to start your awareness. Thank you, John Hopkins University.

Some symptoms were not discussed like diarrhea and coughing up of sputum/blood. Also, survivors developed "COVID toes." Based on research, it was alleged that those with Type O blood are less susceptible to COVID infection.

Overall, I learned so many things with regard to contact tracing. The course was easy because the presentation was very clear. Kudos to Dr. Emily S. Gurley.

Excellent content and delivery. Very well organized and the speaker was clear and pleasant to listen to, and demo videos were helpful. Knowledge checks were helpful. Overall this was fantastic and I highly recommend it, especially knowing the amount of information that had to be gathered and work to be done in such a short time since the topic (Coronavirus) started. I found this course to be very succinct and informative. It provided not only a guide on how to be a contact tracer, but also provided a quick but informative look at the background of the disease, why contact tracing is important, and the ethics of being a contact tracer. I can say for sure I know a lot more about the whole process of being a contact tracer after this course.

A very thorough course that covered all relevant information in an uncomplicated manner. The lecturer's presentation notes and discussion was helpful and explained important points well. I am happy I took this course and I hope that I will be able to apply what I learned to my municipal and state health departments efforts to stem the spread of Covid-19 in the United States.

The Covid-19 Contact Tracing course was engaging and informative. Even though I am a health professional with many years of hospital experience, home health, and academia, I learned a great deal about Covid-19, contact tracing, and especially communication via telehealth. The course objectives were clear and achievable for individuals seeking knowledge on contact tracing.

The best lesson I learned from this course is to never give up. The course itself exemplify how to diligently approach every person regardless of who he or she is. I learned so much here more than just what I have read and saw on instructional resources. Although it cannot replace what you have learned from a degree, it gave more perspective on the actual clientiele approach.

The COVID-19 contact tracing course was clear and informative, and as a school nurse feel more able to be able to do some valuable follow up and tracking to help our local community. I really enjoyed learning about contact tracing especially with current scenario of the pandemic. This course also had an intresting case studies and examples that made me intrested to learn more about contact tracing. This course given me a good knowledge on the deeds done by contact tracers in order to save the community by trying to control the transmission of the disease.

This is course is very clear and helpful, it helped me by clearing out my mind from all the rumors we hear on social media and with the truth and only the truth of covid-19.
