This course was really interesting! I loved it. The teacher was amazing and very engaging. And it was my first time doing peer-graded assignments, i was scared but i did it and i'm so proud of myself.

I truly enjoyed this course. I went into the course with so much expectations, and I got a boost..... A complete rewirement of my thought process. The awareness of how our minds think and react towards things in general is a powerful tool that helps us rethink and reprogram our mind. Meditation helped me to control my mind, and I am happier at the end than at the beginning.

I started this course at the behest of my friend, and it is probably the best thing I have come across on Coursera! The course is backed by scientific data, and offers mind-blowing evidence that proves without a doubt how so much of our behaviour is detrimental to our happiness. I strongly recommend that everyone take up this course, regardless of their academic background.

It was extremely useful to do with everything going on because of the COVID-19 situation. The last weeks dedicated to building habits were very useful because even though I struggled, it was very good to be still part of a group and have the accountability that every week check up was providing. I hope to continue practicing everything learnt so far. Thanks for this course!

Honestly one of the best things that happened to me this year! I didn't know I needed this course to help me reset my goals. I tried to savor moments and feel gratitude my whole life but this just helped me implement those on a daily/weekly basis. Keeping track and doing assignments weekly really helped me stay on track and even do my rewirement on a daily basis with ease!

The course is excellent.. it equips with tools and evidence and highlights the obstacles... even those teaching are honest and share how you have to be consciously aware at all times to keep on with the practices. Thank you and I really enjoyed the learning. Also appreciated that you can change the deadlines, as life happens. Thanks again, much appreciated this experience!

This course is engaging, smart and practical. It's so useful to understand what really will make us happy and how to build new habits into your life to feel more positive and happier. You take a happiness test before and after the course and mine went up, even during a pandemic! I recommend this course to anyone interested in psychology, happiness and having a better life.

It was an amazing experience with this coursematerials, contens and lectures. Practice of measuring happiness, practice of healthy habits, practice of patience and planning are the simple steps for a healthy, positive life and happiness. The Science of Well-Being gives learners practical tools to increase the happiness in their lives. The Lectures and extra materials are enjoyable, information is shared in an easily understandable way, and sharing the experience with other learners on the forum helps reinforce the lessons. This course truly changed my happiness trajectory and I'm incredibly glad I took it.

This course is great! It helps us to realize what really make us happy and shares the rationale on why our mind keeps thinking the wrong way. I enjoyed the graded assignment as this allows me to not just share my challenge, it also allow me to see that there are so many out there who are interested to make themselves happier and the process they went through to achieve it.

I've really enjoyed this course! Professor Santos had inspiring videos and made it fun as well. The Science of Well-Being included finding your signature strengths as well as happiness surveys. I found that my happiness score increased during this course and that my signature strenth is kindness. I know my real purpose in life and I use it even more after this course.

This class not only helped me overcome obstacles that were interfering with my happiness, it helped me realize and appreciate my true calling and purpose in life. Now I can embrace my role as caregiver fully and joyfully. I kind of feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. What I thought I needed wasn't off over some rainbow...it was here with me surrounding me all along.

This course was a great experience for me. There weren’t any unnecessary information. All the facts were based on scientific truths and experiments. It was both academic and practical. There were a lof practices to improve our happiness. The tutor is no wonder a professor at Yale University. She was great. I highly recommend it for people who wants to live a happier life.

How often do we take time to study ourselves? This course provides the framework for just that - backed up by real science and an engaging lecturer. This is a course I would highly recommend to anyone looking to carve out space for themselves. It encourages you to take a meaningful look at yourself and your habits and finding opportunities to promote your own happiness.

This was a fantastic course. I completed it during shelter-in-place due to COVID, and it really helped me to have a set of concrete tasks during this time. I learned a lot about myself as well as the science of happiness and well-being, and came out of it with a new habit (daily meditation) which had previously eluded me for years despite saying I wanted to do more of it!

Content, instructor and assignments are excellent. This is an excellent course. The process flow and use of Coursera are a little wonky or difficult. It took me a lot of time to complete this course because I could not understand how to complete all the tasks. So, the operational aspect was a little tough for me, but the content and facilitation (teacher) was incredible.

This course helped me gain valuable insights into some of the scientific evidence base for happiness and well being and also about positive psychology. I think that what is not mentioned in the course is a life full of meaning and purpose also leads to happiness. Doing a job that you love or having a skill and a passion for something, will also increase one’s happiness.
