Wow, the practical (Hands on ) part is a boom! How did the course disigner/ instructor and the rest of the team involved manage to do that?
Also the review part....so well done and easy to follow!

Overall this was a refresher for me. I was able to reconnect with some of the Excel functions and can now apply those to my current job. The teachings and exercises I found useful and easy to follow.

Very nice! but i think the excel part was a bit too basic. Also the IBM Cognos was too short because this looks like a very elaborate and effective platform. Morever, the IBM Cognos videos aren't clear and comprehensive as the rest of the course. But all in all, i'm satisfied :)

The peer review portion for the final assignment is not the best. Given what the assignment was, it might've been better reviewed by instructors. Or, if not feasible, it should be easier to challenge grades, or reviewers should be made to explain their grading choices.

Course was well structured, videos were clear and informative, instructions for final project were very clear. I learned quite a lot and I think this is a great course for people with no experience in excel who want to grasp its capabilities for basic data analysis.

While this curse has been great at helping me learn the basics and few advanced steps in excel, i truly believe that the course needs to be abit updated specially the quiz as a couple of the answer in quiz were different than the ones given by the mentors.

Good starting point and great labs and data for you to toy with. However, most of what we study is quite easy and can be easily found on Youtube, which is free. Still, the materials provided are much better than what you will find on a free platfrom.

Videos were easy to follow and assignments were also a good test of our knowledge. Just wished the Excel templates used in the videos were shared with course participants ahead of time, so that we can practise along with the videos.

The peer review is the only one I am not happy with when the answer is correct the reviwer has marked it partially right. It looks like they havent gone through the review process properlly this is the second time this happened.

It was very informative and helpful, but it was not Mac friendly. I had to look through several external resources to figure out what keyboard shortcuts could be used in place of the Windows shortcuts listed.

I was pretty familiar with excel already, but this class definitely taught me some new tricks that I wasn't using. There was a breif lesson on Pivot, but I felt like that portion went really quick.

Great and easy to follow along. The final assignment works with a too simple and unrealistic data set. I would prefer the final assignment to be a bit more challenging and uses a real world data set.

Really good and useful course to get more familiar with Excel. I wish there was better feedback to/from peers on the last assignment and how to grade... But that is just a minor opinion of mine :)

Very content with skills I learnt. However, some sections are not well explained and it seemed like the instructor was just going through them. For instance when teaching about "Flash Fill".

I use excel often at my work so I though this course was going to be extremely boring and useless, but I learned a few things at the end, and shortcuts that I now use to make my work easier.

Very basic. For experienced or even intermediate Excel users, this course can be completed quickly and is a good review of some of Excel's more basic but sometimes "forgotten" functions

The whole course was good also included the latest excel analysis functions, but for the majority course it was made couple of years ago, my suggestion to make a updated course.

VLOOKUP is a relatively complex feature to understand. Some more detailed examples could have been added so that students felt comfortable about using it in the real world.

Great course. Great modules. Clear instructions. My only feedback is that the curser often obstructs the information relative to the what the instructor is explaining.

Great course. I have some limited self-taught knowledge of some basics but it really helped me understand and create more. However, I do wish there was more practice.

Definitely a great start for excel beginners, intermediate users looking to improve their skills. Should have included the macros as an overview and dashboarding.

The peer assessment are not reasonable. The person who marked my assignment was not the unit coordinator and my final mark was decided by his mistake in marking.
