The course helps you to clearly understand the Symptoms, how to identify the cases, how to help the contacts and educate people about COVID-19. Thanks to this course, I have been able to educate the society around me with credible information learnt from the course. It also teaches, how to deal with the infected individuals and how to manage the communication. Good course and I am glad I took this course and successfully completed it.

Great course! What the world needs now are facts. There is way too much political hyperbole going around the internet. Thank you for sharing this knowledge with the public. I love that the class was offered for free, but still available to those that which to officially graduate. I didn't choose to pay now, but I hope I will still have the option of printing a certificate in the future. To whoever developed this course-AMAZING JOB!

This was a great course. I learned a great deal about COVID-19 and how useful contact tracing can be in ending this terrible pandemic. I am a lawyer and the interviewing tips and techniques were a great refresher. I was a public defender and the ability to empathize and gain the trust of clients and witnesses and the ability to communicate with those in the courts and social programs was key to successful outcomes. Thank you so much.

This course was very informative and helpful. The instructor's pace and tone made it easy to listen and learn the information; the intermittent quizzes helped me to track what I understood and what I needed to review again. I truly appreciated the videos that showed the process of doing a contact tracing call. Above all, this was a good course and I feel more informed about Covid-19 and more empowered to do contact tracing as a CHW.

Certain updates like that Covid spreads through droplets in air even after 14 mins & after 11 days even after testing positive the covid patients are not infectious & a man in india just got infected by falling on other man from jackfruit tree in India spread infection i.e less than 5 mins of contact is dangerous be studied and updated . this course was an eye opener for both Covid 19 and the relationship to Contact Tracing. Very informational modules cover the material with quizes to reinforce the material learned.

the final exam is a good course review in itself.

I now consider Contact Tracing as both Public Health Information gathering with Case Management combined in order to minimize the pandemic spread and minimize personal issues of isolation or quarantine.

This course has not only been an eye opener for Contact Tracker information and the knowledge of COVID-19, but it has helped me to open up and be more understanding. I now want to be more conscience of "listening" to those around me. I don't want to stop here i want to be able to gain more knowledge of the Covid-19 tracker field and try to help do my part out there and let people that they are not alone and they are being heard.

More informative than the Army and most civilian agencies. I recommend this course because it could dispel a lot of the rumors we hear and read everyday. I took this course to prepare for a job with Border Patrol, which gives me a new outlook on how I may handle the issues at my station. The contact tracing portion was informative because in the military, we were quick to isolate everyone. Good luck all and thanks for the course.

I'm from the UK but was curious about approaches to contact tracing in the USA. The illustrations of practical effective communication strategies is especially good and a useful transferable skill. I also found the infographic displaying visually the incubation period, and infectious periods very useful and something I have not seen so far on public health websites in the UK - it could be useful for members of the public to see.

I liked the straight-forward presentation. Graphics were helpful. It's also great to see Emily Gurley's name in other contexts, showing that she has a good reputation outside of Coursera.

However, I was disappointed that I could not access the Discussion -- neither through Mozzilla nor Bing. (In other Coursera courses in the past, I had no problem, and the discussions were interesting.)

The course goes very deeply into what COVID-19 is and how to easily identify if a person has it, along with all the tools one needs while working with others to accurately and quickly figure out if a person has it, has had it, or was in close contact with people. It takes many concepts other Customer Service positions use and states it in a clear manner for anyone to understand. Whoever made this course knew what they were doing.

I learned more taking this course than I have since the pandemic began. Everyone needs to be enrolled. This was great and I am blessed to have been a part of this wonderful course. Very clear, engaging, and easy to follow. Though it needs to be updated to address the fact that vaccines have been developed and distributed to the public. The last time the course was updated was in August and it mentioned that there are currently no treatments for COVID-19. Otherwise, great course to prepare individuals for the role of contact tracers. Highly recommend to anybody who wants to delve into that field of work.

Emily was clear, easy to follow and thorough with the information provided. I thought I knew a lot about COVID-19 based on what I'd learned via the news and media but this information was factual and gave a better understanding for stopping the spread. Everyone should be required to take this course, it might help if we all know what to look for and how to stop the spread amongst our own communities. I'm excited to get started!

This was an effective and informative introduction to contact tracing and the need for such infrastructures in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Much of the knowledge conveyed in these lectures is not widely known and therefore proves to be fundamental and necessary for the wider population. The lectures are short and concise, with revision questions at the end of each section to aid in your learning throughout the course.

Very interesting introductory course for a beginner in Contact Tracing. Liked the video presentation and PowerPoint outline. Quizzes at the end of the presentations were very helpful in mastering content. Feel like I can join the team of contact tracers to work and learn more. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to others. Also, I would like to continue to take other courses to improve my skills and scope of knowledge.

This is an excellent course for individuals that may not have a sense of the importance and operation of contact tracing. I found the course to be interesting and informative in the ways that our health professionals are battling to contain the pandemic. Hopefully I can put what I have learned to good use in any positions that I apply for. In any event I now have a better perspective of the challenges CoVid-19 has presented us.
