This course is a great introduction to bookkeeping. However, it would be helpful to receive more practice questions and worksheets like the one in Module 4 to work through. I did not feel like I was able to really master the concepts through practice with only one to two questions per concept, and not being able to see the answers to Module 4's worksheet didn't allow me to learn where I made a mistake or do more practice.

This was an excellent course! I really appreciated the gradient approach! This course took me step by step from defining the Accounting formula to setting up statements. It helped me fill in the gaps and confusions from other classes that I had taken which put things out of sequence or didn't define the simple accounting terms. The visuals on this course helped Big Time! I couldn't have asked for a better course:))

The course was very good, but at the very end of the course, there were a couple of key components missing in the transaction portion of Lou's Services that had me baffled when trying to complete the Ledger entries and make the Income statement balance. Also, I don't know if it was me and something I was doing, but I kept missing portions of the course and had to go back and find out what I missed.

There was some questions with incorrect answers on the final exam it asks 2 questions. 1 What is the AR the answer is $5500, and then it asks how much did the dude make, the answer based on accrual accounting should be $5500 (all invoices mind you), and it says the correct answer is $4500.. other than that course was pretty good. The narrator is really annoying but content is solid.

Very good review of bookkeeping. You look at examples of the different methods of accounting and how they are used. Also, the real-world scenario of a lawn mowing service was very interacting. Bianca made the content come to life with the animation videos. I was able to brush up on some of these accounting method skills which I haven't practiced with for about a year.

great course that taught me the basics but i do wish it terminology was explained it a way that set it apart from others and made it easy to remember, also it felt like a lot of stuff that was on the actual graded tests were never gone over enough or at all but it the end it was all worth doing and only took me 4 days doing a couple hours a day to complete.

This course seems to cover important topics related to bookkeeping. To me there is too much fluff in the course. I don't really need Bianca to joke around as she presents the material. I just want to learn bookkeeping. The format of this course may make it easier to digest for some people, but for me it just makes it take longer to complete the program.

Pretty good course that covers the basics. I could have done without the narrative portion, it was just something I skipped over when it came up. It also would have been nice if they showed how they reached an answer in the quizzes, rather than just giving you the correct answer. Without showing the work, it's hard to know where you've gone wrong.

I learned a lot, but there seemed to be quite a few lessons that could use additional information to tie the whole process of bookkeeping together. I feel like you must have a bit of knowledge of bookkeeping already prior to taking this course, otherwise a person would most likely be left a bit confused and unsure about what they are learning.

Good overall course. I do think it could have explained things better (I watched several youtube videos for more in depth explainations). I also wish there were several optional worksheets (with answers provided) so that you could actually practice using the information. The only time we actually did anything ourself was for the final exam.

the course work is comprehensive and well presented. it would be nice to have more practical real-life situation for practice. The last quiz was great however it would have been nice to have the completed journal, ledger, and income statement so we can see where we went wrong. The presentation of the general ledger threw me off ....

I think it could have had a little more hands on...the final exam is a good example of what I mean by hands on. There are different types of learners and I learn best when I can combine lecture and video with hands on activities...I still am a little weak in some areas, but I am hoping that this will improve as we move forward

it was good, a lot of info to process but it was good overall. the people who helped explain quickbooks were a little all over the place, kinda hard to follow along with them while they were also making mistakes, maybe edit that out and have a clear edit without mistakes, of what we are suppose to do if thast makes any sense.

Course utilizes good examples and a variety of presentation methods to help learners understand the concepts. There were a few small glitches; like video ending before the speaker was done talking, but the transcription had everything. I enjoyed working at my own pace and having the material presented in small chunks.

I loved this course. It was very informational and easy to understand. But I did have some issues in week 4 when I had to finish the case study. I don't feel like I was able to complete it in the best way because I didn't get enough help. Please give us more ways to realistically complete the case study.

Glad I took this course in Bookkeeping. Really poshied my understanding of bookkeeping, reporting and understanding preparing of basic financial statement. They need to improve on the exercises and case study. All in all thank you Ituit for offering this course for both accountants and business owners.

I felt like I learned a lot from this certificate. The only recommendation I have is for more hands on experiences without as many guides (specifically in lessons 2-3), just to be able to be tested more. With that said, the final case study did require you to test your knowledge, which was good!

The final assignment in Week 4 would have been greatly enhanced had you provided a "corrected" spread sheet for us to review. I would have benefitted from the opportunity to compare my work with the expected finished product. Can this still be accomplished and shared by the course designers?

This was a great place to start an introduction to accounting. It helped me understand concepts that have previously confused and intimdated me. I do wish there had been a clearer explanation of how to move journal entries into the trial balance and what "retained earnings" means.

It was great. Some of things, I couldn't understand, but I learned many things. But sometimes it's hard to focus the lecture. Becasue there have some part that looks like ad, Quick Book ad, it made me little uncomfortable. But the other thing was good. I will keep take this course.

I would like to see more consistency in your numeric formatting for answers. These tests should not be about how you enter your answer, but how well you know the data. It is frustrating to have to take a test over simply because in one test there were 3 different number formats.

the course was very informative and easy to understand. love the fact that it allows you to try and practice as much as you want and need on what is provided. I just wish there was more exercises/practice on other aspects of the job to get a better understanding on what to do.

Intuit did great in the first 2 weeks. Although towards the end of week 3 one activity did not work and also there was not a lot of explaining on how to record the amounts correctly in working out the net income. Week 4 had no interactive activities and should have had some.

Overall, it serves as a good add on if one is going to college/university. I would have hoped for at least 3 different case studies, each with different levels of difficulty and a variety of debiting / crediting involving accruals. depreciation and the like.
