Waste of my time :( Each module is separated as " weeks", and each week, the audio in the presentation got lower and lower. It feels as if the producer of this course went on Fivr and hired someone to read off PowerPoint slides. Worse of all, in a course about technical writing, one of the quizzes marked questions incorrectly, and in other quizzes multiple questions are often repeated multiple times. In addition, the Quiz are just useless, The Questions & Answers are structured in a way that you can guess the answer with 100% accuracy without even reading the question. As for the content, the style of the presentation provides no value. The information provided can easily be found online. In fact, at the end of each module there are links to random blog post for each topic. The teacher doesn't show any practical examples in depth, or even go through crafting a technical document.

Problems with quiz inaccuracies and audio quality plague the course throughout. There are no hands-on exercises or peer review activities. The learning quality is poor compared to other courses here. I took this through TADA, however, if I had paid for this course I would have requested my money back. Do better.

The course is super general. There is no real examples. How to get 100% in each questionnaire - just choose longest answer thats it. Many repeated questions. The course needs to be updated with real examples and cases. Needs just at least one complete example of how to create one technical document.

The tests have multiple scoring problems and are highly repetitive and can be completed through logic rather than knowledge--that's only when the test grades you properly. The first quiz has 3 questions graded improperly, which means you have to be close to perfect if you want to pass. Other times, my correct answer wasn't acknowledged and I was marked down for putting the wrong answer. It's a mess, honestly. I hope this certification looks good on my LinkedIn but I think anyone in the know would find this course to be a super basic overview.

Course is riddled with errors. The transcripts for videos are often incorrect, but I imagine that is something auto-generated. The real problem is in the quizzes. I believe it is the first quiz that counts some correct answers as incorrect. Multiple other students have given this feedback over some months, with no correction in sight. The third quiz also has the majority of the correct answers starred, and all of them are "C" anyway. I was very disappointed in the content of the course. I had hoped I would be receiving detailed information on the formatting and creation of technical documents. We spent a large amount of time just discussing why Microsoft Word and Adobe Illustrator are good products, networking to get yourself hired, and only barely touched on the intended subject matter of the course. Unfortunately, I will need to find another option to gain the education I actually needed on this subject.

I am getting some basics but more real life visual examples and hands on practice would enhance this. I am walking away from each lesson not confident I know what the documents should look like upon completion.

by the way, there is an error in the first graded quiz, unless my brain is really not working today: 11. Question 11 Which of the following is NOT a characteristic of effective technical documents? 0 / 1 point Incomplete information Visual aids and illustrations to enhance understanding A clear table of contents and headings Complex language and jargon Incorrect Effective technical documents should provide complete information.

The information is great; however, in a technical writing course someone should review and proofread the transcripts and quizzes for grammatical errors. It was distracting when I came across several incomplete sentences. The course was missing it's own point when it had run on paragraphs and didn't use bullet points instead of lists in the transcripts.

Having completed week 1, the following are my observations: 1. The voice of the presenter was low. 2. The explanations of the presenter most times did not synch with the points in the slides presented. 3. Two questions in the graded quiz: questions 1 and 11 are the same but with different answers. Who does that?? 4. I believe this course's creator(s) can do better in creating high-level questions for the students. I was expecting questions that would get me thinking. I did not pen down any points during the lessons but breezed through all the questions. Which is unlike me.

Lots of errors in the quizzes, repeat questions mainly. In one quiz, all the answers were C. The information was great for a beginner course, but felt my knowledge was not truly tested due to the multitude of errors.
