Although introductory, I do carry out reviews as a researcher. I Learned a lot to improve my systematic reviews through this course. High quality, though the music could be a little less intense.

the course lacks the experimental part, after completing the course I can't do ca systematic review and meta-analysis on my own. Also thec ourse didn't emphasize on the how to quality assessment for included studies or how to actually get all the studies, it only gives you framework from the cochrane handbook and you should do everything on your own. So I would recommend that others should know how to do systematic review and then take this course this way they will understand it.

The Course is engaging and adds value to the learner. It has added many new phrases in my vocabulary pertaining to SR and MA. However, course focusses the medical professionals which needs to be mentioned in the introduction of the course.

It adds good cognitive knowledge but builds skills less. Some practising assignments would further add value to learners and the course.

Hello cousera, i'm elated to be part of this wonderful course. The peer review assessment is incomplete. I keep flagging it down and it is preventing me from finishing up .

What could be the problem?

Talking about bias!!! if you are interested in learn about meta analysis but you comming from a field different to medicine or epidemiology this is not your course, GET OUT. For the statistics they explain very, very few, and at the end didn't include the information nesseary to fully understand meta analysis data. Also, only took into account some estimations (ORs and RRs in RCT) but nothing on regression in meta analysis or network MA. The instructors mention the following introduction of softwares that never introduce at the end. I'm Marine Biologist looking to learn about meta analysis and this course was bellow my expectations. I do understand that for the epidemiologists or health care carreers it could be a perfect course, but then it would be recommened narrowing the scope on the title or the description if ther don't want to brind a wider approach on the topic. The instructor seems that they are expert on their field but from people for other disciplines it is very complicated get a good grip of the content of the course.
