About the Course

Have you ever wondered how goods get delivered to us so quickly as soon as we order them? One word: Logistics! In this introductory Supply Chain Logistics course, I will take you on a journey to this fascinating backbone of global trade. We cover the three major building blocks of logistics networks: transportation, warehousing, and inventory. After completing this course, you will be able to differentiate the advantages and disadvantages of different modes of transportation. You will understand what goes into designing and setting up a warehousing facility. Finally, you will be able to select the options that enable you to develop logistics networks, that minimize costs and deliver top customer service. This is an introductory course designed to provide you with a start on your learning journey in logistics. You do not need to have any background in logistics, but it would be beneficial if you had a basic understanding of business concepts. Join me and we will learn together about logistics! This course was well organized, provided necessary learning materials, and hands-on learning experiences. I would highly recommend this course to others interested in learning supply chain logistics.

Adequately detailed and informative educational videos. With sufficient links to external resources, study materials & reference information. The tests and exams helped reinforce the study material.

Very short course with very little information. I found peer graded system isn't that well. It differs from person to person.

In my opinion it is short of important contents and some of the tasks are not very productive to learn logistics concepts;

A subject of logic has been made theoretical and memory game. That is not what Supply Chain Is. Really disappointed.

The example should not be only included the USA. It was a challenging journey to adapt the knowledge and relate it to my country. Besides the concept can be more interactive and detailed. The project should be more realistic and challenging. This is a very very short course and not much detailed. The tools and technics that are used in this course are at a very surface level and limited. The complex case study of the problem is not done in this course. I pursued this course with a high level of expectation but I only get disappointment.

*Very* short lectures and nonsensical assignments ("You're sending something to city halls... why did you choose to organize that the way you did?" would be a bad question in a course with adequate teaching. This course has good lectures but it is just stupidly short and does not get students to actually learn.

This is a deceptively attractive course but is actually quite useless. It is nice as casual watching but there's no one who will come out with actionable skills or even detailed memories.

Very low quality. A poor standard of writing with constant grammatical errors makes the written parts, including the test questions, quite confusing and non-sensical. The videos seem to be very very basic introductions to simple topics. Tasks are simple with no real benefit but yet still take a long time to complete.
