The course was incredibly informative. I am glad that I got the opportunity to study in a course on statistics from Stanford University itself. I thank the creators and participants of the course!

The lectures were clear and thorough, with a good amount of examples. The quizzes were excellent, and I learned a lot from the feedback. One of the best Coursera courses I have ever taken!

Great range of topics covered but needs to be greatly simplifed for it to truly be an 'introduction' course.

while I believe challenges are a good thing, I think the course was too much for its 'beginner' label

Starts off as quite beginners-level, though the onslaught of formulas can be overwhelming.

This course was extremely frustrating for me. While I do not have a background in statistics or data science, I do have two Bachelor's degrees and took the course as a prerequisite for a Doctoral program. The marketing of this course is misleading - the title should not be "Introduction to Statistics". It would be more appropriate to title this course "Advanced statistical concepts" as the content was in fact advanced, the pace rapid, and the descriptive terminology complex. The professor is clearly brilliant in his field, however he does not deliver the material in a digestible manner for those without a background in statistics. Do not take this course if you are looking for a refresher on stats. I gave two stars because the user interface is great.

This course basically summarizes different components of statistics. The professor jumped straight into examples to explain concepts but didn't explain important terms and how he labeled parts of the equations before going into an example. I felt like there weren't explanations that would help better the understanding. I had to use outside resources to better understand what was being taught.

The instructor was just reading from the slides. I’m not a beginner in statistics, but even I found it quite difficult. Even though the topics had a wide scope, I managed to grasp most of them by working alongside ChatGPT in the end. I do not recommend it.
