excellent course content with knowledgeable professor. Challenging to learn and focused on both analytical theory and practical example.

Good course. Buying the book by Prof. Schaub will help you a lot in succeeding in this course.

Extremely interesting class. Yet, compared to the previous, a bit more "numerical" exercices, with simulation and programs to do, in order to test the solutions and know we have programmed the right things, would make it earn this fifth star! Thanks Prof Schaub!

Great teacher, great course. I recommend studying with the book since it's not an easy topic.
The first course was a bit better since there were more programming exercises to train.

Lot's of great information in here, but the assignments are incredibly frustrating. They assume you have knowledge that isn't gone over in class, such as perturbation theory and there's hardly any review of basic rigid body dynamics before throwing you into the deep end. Plus there is literally 0 help available. The instructor appears to have abandoned the course and there are no active mentors for the course. Plus the final course assignment is a peer reviewed assignment and there are very few learners in this course, so it'll likely take weeks for your assignment to be reviewed. Overall this course has been my worst experience with coursera so far.
