This is a great course! I have learned new knowledge that is far beyond my expectation! Highly recommend for young scientists to attend this course to learn basic principles in writing in the science!

The best course I attain in Coursera. I struggled a lot to write my first manuscript and it took a lot of time. This course is beneficial for all scientific students. I highly recommended this course.

While the material was good I felt the level of competency required to finish the course was not that high. I think more focus should be put into how the grading is done. I understand this is difficult to do in an online course as testing methods are limited. All in all I still learnt some useful skills from the course.

Some content was really good and some content felt quite old and out of date (movies from 2012). The course starts with alot of grammar and writing, so just hold on if you are more interested in the scientific writing process since this comes in the middle/end of the course.

Informative but way too long! Material could be significantly condensed and some of it presented in powerpoint/text version rather than video.

The course content was fair but the quiz for week 1-3 were unfair to me since they were not specifically outlined within the course material.

Course gave good insight to the writing process. I didn't learn anything new, but it was a great refresher course for me. well done.

This course is good. But it may be inconvenient for general learners because most of writings as examples are medical terms.

In the middle of the course, I realised that I am not interested in this programme. And I do not want to spet my time on it.

I did really enjoy this course. As someone who already has science publications I have picked up some very small and important details. In the beginning I really enjoyed remaking texts. But. Examples of articles in this course were in sphere, where I do not understand the sense. Biology, certain sciences... I am a historian and for me it was very difficult. Besides, I am Ukrainian and English is not my native language. On one side the course teaches that the science must be understandable on the other - I could not even not understand the course parts. It was very disappointing. This is my feed back. Thank you for your work.

The course is not optimal for theoretical physics. Only a few units are useful.
