Este curso está dedicado a revisar las tendencias estéticas que se derivan del encuentro entre la experimentación musical y los planteamientos filosóficos del software libre y el movimiento de código abierto. Más específicamente, se analizarán algunas perspectivas de música colaborativa que parten de la idea de que las creaciones humanas deberían compartirse libremente. Desde la música remix hasta el live coding, son varias las propuestas artísticas que se revisarán a lo largo de los cuatro módulos del curso, y a partir de las discusiones y los casos que se analicen en el mismo, los estudiantes desarrollarán una serie de proyectos sonoros que pondrán en circulación utilizando licencias Creative Commons.
