I learned an awful lot by spending extra time with the Georgia Tech textbook and keeping a notebook full of proofs and illustrations. The lectures got better as the course progressed. My only criticism is that for independent, self-paced learners like myself, having Coursera constantly remind me that I was overdue was very annoying. I wanted to actually learn the concepts, not memorize formulas. I did this by spending a *lot* of time independently with paper and pencil, and letting the intuitions soak in. At the end of the day I understood determinants well, something I had never done as an undergraduate math major. One surprising positive -- the AI Coach is terrific! I used it to give me pop quizzes, and answered the questions in detail, and the AI understood what I was saying. Great stuff.

Good course content. Instructor is inspiring, quite able to view thing from different perspective and useful to increase understanding of concept.

It helps me to advance my knowledge and the way of teaching is just to the point, that's what i was looking for. I would say it would be great if their are more examples included.
