I really enjoyed this class and feel like I learned a LOT. I especially enjoyed creating my pitch deck as we progressed through the course. This made it seem so much less overwhelming and enjoyable.

This course is helpful to have an overview of general business. However, I think it's more inclined to the product-selling ones, which doesn't apply for me. The zoom chats, although helpful in some cases, were way too short and random.

While the course material on YouTube covers essential topics for launching an online business, I found the pace to be a bit slow for my taste. The information presented often felt repetitive and straightforward, and the assignments didn't always seem to align closely with the content taught. Many of the assignments appeared to be common sense questions, which made me question their relevance to the broader learning objectives. However, I do acknowledge that these foundational topics are crucial for beginners and can provide a solid understanding of key concepts. Despite the straightforward nature of the content, completing the assignments did offer opportunities to reinforce learning and apply knowledge in practical ways. This hands-on experience was valuable in helping me gain confidence in launching my online business. Overall, while the course may benefit beginners seeking a comprehensive introduction to online business, more experienced individuals may find the pace and content to be somewhat basic. I would suggest refining the course structure to better cater to a wider range of learners with varying levels of expertise.

I will not recommend to my friends. It has some useful information, but it's heavily based on opinion rather than facts. The quiz and lectures uses words like "good, best, beautiful" which will make it harder to understand the quizzes and answer them properly. The rating of the course was the selling point for me, but do not agree with it. I guess, if you are a New Yorker, you can contact SBS for assistance with your small business :)

Short videos that cause focus lost by looking for the next one. Too many "zoom conversations"

It presents one way of starting an online business, doesn't explore the topic in-depth, and doesn't offer various solutions for example starting an online business fast or with a budget of $50 or less. It has only one approach - assume what you want to do and do it, instead of approaching it from a different approach like identifying a problem creating a solution and then validating a solution (getting paid for your offer), which can start an online business within a couple of days, get paid and build from there.

Dumbed down info read word for word off a screen by someone who hasn't started a business. The children they use for their experts are misguided and arrogant who no longer have their shopify stores operating. The one that does has her page full of spelling errors. Don't waste your time, just go watch a shopify tutorial. This was a comical attempt that makes Udemy content look high level. Absurd coursera published this.
