I recently completed the Google AI Essentials Course, and while it’s a well-structured and engaging program, I found it to be quite basic. The course seems designed for beginners who are completely new to AI, making it a great starting point for those looking to understand foundational concepts and applications. For someone with prior knowledge or experience in AI, it might feel too simple, as it doesn’t delve into more advanced topics or hands-on technical skills. That said, it does a great job of introducing key ideas in an accessible way and could inspire newcomers to explore further. Overall, it’s a good entry-level course, but I’d recommend additional resources for anyone looking to deepen their AI expertise.

Not a good use of time. Very light on AI context and terms, does not explain AI tech and the different AI techniques well. AI for Everyone by DeepLearning does it much better. Very promotional of Google Gemini with lengthy assignment, ironically a few are buggy with errors like "Gemini unable to generate images" or cannot analyze data at the moment. Google just being Google!!

This course started well but the middle and beyond contained too much fluff. I was disappointed in thinking that I would learn more about techniques. This is my fault because I should have been more engaged in the lesson outline before I started. For me, it was not worth $50. I recommend the University of Vanderbilt's AI course to learn more about how to use it.

Proceed @ your own risk. Although the videos in this course are user friendly,the assignments are not. If you are tech savvy definitely go for it . If on the other hand if you are not tech savvy or you are a visual learner or auditory learner this course might not be right for you. Again Proceed @ your own risk.

Not quite I had in mind. The course was too basic. I was hoping this course would cover the fundamentals and intermediate topics (search algorithms, machine learning, models natural language processing... etc) which are taught in all comp sci AI classes as a primer.

While the course provided a foundational understanding, the level of detail and practical application did not fully justify the associated fee, especially when considering the capabilities of AI tools like ChatGPT.

I really didn't get much out of this. I would say that only 2 out 5 modules were useful. With a little bit of research, I feel like I could have gotten more out of this and saved myself $50.

A good course if you have no experience with AI. If you currently use programs like ChatGPT, you likely will not learn much more in this course.

While there is useful information here, it is not a good value for the money, and not higher quality than you could get on YouTube.

It was all content that I didn't bother to study. If it was free, who would still take it for a fee...?

If you have used Gemini or ChatGPT then you will not learn anything from this.

If you can use any AI application currently, you don't need this.

Extremamente superficial, ensinando conceitos óbvios e intuitivos, nomes e classificações inúteis, sem mostrar nenhuma ferramenta na prática com exceção do geminai (que já é uma coisa obvia e intuitiva para se usar). Fiz o modulo 1, quando percebi a enrolação eu apenas resumi com o coach IA todas as aulas e li mais rápido, e o terceiro, quarto e quinto módulo eu nem fiz aula nenhuma, já pulei para as provas sem estudar nada e acertei quase tudo de primeira, pra ver o quão básico é o curso Facilmente o pior curso que já fiz na vida! Procura algo no youtube que você vai aprender bem mais que isso aqui

I've taken other Google IT classes on here. The IT pro and the Python ones are GREAT! I recommend them to people all the time. This one is not great. Go watch a 10 min video on how to use chatGPT 3.5 and a very high level 5 min video on how it works under the hood. Youtube will save you the 40 bucks. If you have used a LLM for more than 1 hour then you are already past this level. This one will not end up on my resume. It is extremely basic.
