This course presents a deep look into the philosophy of finance, as a societal tool, its place in our lives, and how it came to exist. This part is way too often overlooked in finance literacy despite being essential in seeing the big picture.

It is great course that introduces the student to financial markets, financial knowledge and the social impact of modern finances. Also, it is a privilege to learn these topics from a legendary and prestigious economist such as Robert Shiller.

I learned about every importante aspect of finance, the general theory of it, the why, and the how. Fantastic, it gave me a lot of reality on what it truly exists for, and gave me a lot more knowledge on which to decide my future business life

Learned many thing from the financial markets like, make an informed judgement about whether or to what extent a financial market satisfies the conditions of an efficient market

identify the main factors that could detract from that efficiency.

Best online course I've taken. Professor Schiller is great and communicates major concepts in finance in an engaging manner. The tests at the end of every lesson helped solidfy the information. My only complain is that it was only 7 weeks!
