Good as an introduction, but there was some variability between lectures. One lecture went into equations and the quiz questions were very specific. That specific information should not be needed to get a (very) general overview of drug discovery.

This course is more a collage of different arguments, all very interesting, dscussed by very prepared people, but poorly delivered.

It certainly requires better slides, a more structured learning path that discusses which arguments are going to be taught and what's their relationship with each other, as well as a more detailed feedback on quizzes

I never thought I will complete this course, as it provides advanced studies of Drug discovery and its applications of life. The course is well suited for a young peer minds and also paves way to learn other things related to Pharmacology. This introductory course on drug discovery has touched upon different aspects of the process of drug discovery including various challenges and opportunities from starting to identify a drug candidate and using various strategies to screen the earliest leads to the most probable candidates for going into in vitro and in vivo studies to finally select the potential candidate to go for pre-clinical and clinical trials, before setting up for commercialization after approval from FDA.

Wonderful explanations and a supra-comprehensive sessions touching all most all the essential components of the Drug Discovery.

The course was a great chance to refresh my knowledge on drug discovery but also learn some new informations based on case studies presented in the lectures by people who were already engaged to Pharmaceutical Industry. The lectures include basic information on drug discover, but also illustrative examples to help you get a different perspective when it comes to drug discovery. I would totally like to attend the other lectures of this course.

This course is very interesting and informative. I learned a lot about the pharmaceutical industry, such as the steps and processes as well as the challenges involved in drug discovery, global pharma market trends, proteomics and genomics, and various types of drug delivery systems. I'm a PhD student, working on synthesizing drug used for brain imaging. I did not have any idea before how the drug discovery process works, but after this course, I understand the process of discovery of drug and how challenging and time-consuming process. Very recommendable course, it gives you an initial view of how the pharmaceutical market works nowadays (at least how it worked in 2016 haha), but if you have other academic background not related with pharma this course is perfect for learning the market, and the first steps of drug creation.

With this course I learned that the area of medicines has been opening up more with the aim of presenting improvements in its products and seeking an integration of capacities for its production, distribution and sale. All this without losing sight of the purpose of supporting the patient.

Auditing this course was very useful. All wealth of information delivered was very accessible, even without a strong science background. The speakers/presenters provided a number of great examples and case studies to illustrate points. Overall a good high-level view of drug discovery.

Very good course for the beginners in drug discovery/ pharmaceutical field. If you already have some knowledge on the matter it can be to easy for you and less interesting, but with that being said, it's a great one if you are a little rusty and want to remind yourself of the basics.
