There are 3 modules in this course

Apply Copilot in Excel to turn a raw quarterly metrics export into a KPI table an executive audience can rely on. The work starts before the first prompt: fixing what each metric means, which period and population it covers, and which system is the source of record. From there, Copilot is directed to consolidate, calculate, and lay out a chart-ready dataset — and every figure is tied back to a source line before it is allowed to leave the workbook.

What's included

Create a board deck in PowerPoint with Copilot that converts a KPI dataset into slides a director can read in the ninety seconds they will give it. Each slide carries one claim; the chart is chosen to support that claim rather than to display the data; and the bullet narrative states what changed, why, and what the board is being asked to decide. Copilot drafts the deck — the preparer decides what the deck is arguing.

Evaluate a drafted board deck for message coherence and stakeholder relevance before it is finalized. AI-drafted commentary is fluent, confident, and frequently unsupported — it asserts drivers the data does not evidence, repeats the same finding across three slides, and pitches at the wrong audience. This module supplies the review protocol, the traceability technique, and the judgment about what a board needs to see versus what the preparer finds interesting.
