I learned a lot from this course, and it was really worth it.

In terms of content, this course is very thin even for an introductory course on the subject. The instructional videos are very short (5 minutes and under), and then you receive a short PDF to read, and finally the specifications for an assignment (1 per module). The assignments are not always perfectly clear, and are more in line of "play and experiment". When you submit the finished assignment, you also need to peer-grade someone else's. That's basically it. The theory is somewhat useful, and I did learn something. But really, it's just common sense, no real tips & tricks uncovered here. The gist of it is: be precise in your prompts, avoid open-ended and general prompts if you want specific responses. I didn't expect much from it, but still some extra guidance from the instructors would definitely help the quality of this course. The course instructor Andrew Maynard made a more extensive course on his website, which is much better than what is offered here: https://andrewmaynard.net/an-introduction-to-basic-prompt-engineering-with-chatgpt/

Don't waste your time. This is a very lazy approach to a course on a popular subject, it has very short video intros to chapters that don't convey any practical information, just mentioning stuff you might learn. The actual theory is written text, sometimes accompanied by an audio recording. It is not engaging at all, and the information is already old. It's something you could show your grandparents to teach them about ChatGPT, but it has no useful application for real life or in a business setting. The two very generous stars I've given it are for making me take some time and interact with ChatGPT, and the other one for the insights I got from other students' assignments.

Don't even waste your time. You will learn nothing. It is a very basic information with very basic assignments. The assignments are rated by other course participants and not by teachers. Nobody reads the results, everyone just approves the accomplishment and you go forward.

No substance. Each 'week' consists of one video introducing what the reading is about, 2-minute reading and a reflection.

It's ultra basic. And the last week isn't really a week, it's just a thank you video.

One of the most useless courses I have taken in Coursera. There is hell a lot of reading and unstructuredness to the assignments. It's waste of time!

I loved the lectures and the exercises. PROs: I like that I learned about RACCCA, a critical thinking tool to be used at the end of each Prompt session. Its purpose is to make sure your objectives from the Prompt session were fully met. ChATGPT4 isn't perfect, makes mistakes, and needs knowledgeable human direction. It enhances your professional use of ChatGPT. Also, there is an option in the Discussions to share your favorite prompt. A few that were shared were really good! CON: I wasn't fond of being peer reviewed, especially on the last assignment. I understand the faculties' interest in expanding students' knowledge of the many interesting and varied ways a problem can be solved by ChatGPT. However, I take these classes late at night. Evaluating someone else's work is double duty for me. Overall, I encourage anyone interested in Prompt Engineering to take this class. I learned too much to have one little con take a star away.

The course was overall very good. A couple notes I'd give are around the subjective nature of the content. One or two non-peer reviewed assignments might help the content a little by better defining some solid terms for using AI. I'd also suggest better templates for the assignments and grading them, since some students could have gotten confused as to what they should generate for their assignments.

Great for anyone who starts with little to no knowledge of ChatGPT. This should be a good foundation to build upon.

Thanks for making this course, but as expected, at the moment, there is barley something to learn there.
