It's not professional as that one created by Penn Uni. Named "Pay attention " which is unavailable now and I don't understand why has it been removed from Coursera?!!

Not much content, way more more classroom suggestion in the reading material then presented in the videos. Was a bit disappointed.

I didn't think that using bribes was a good system, even if effective. The presenter was wonderful and spoke quickly and clearly.

I have been aware of aspects of ADHD for seveal years now, but this course provided very specific guidance for behaviors that parents, teachers, and other leaders should be aware of in students with behaviors tied to ADHD. The instructor explained what this neurodiversity is, how to collect data on the behaviors, how to create household rules and behavior contracts, and how parents and teachers can work together to ensure they are working on the same page to support these children. This course provided practical steps that can be implemented in any classroom.

This is a great concise course on understanding ADHD, its diagnosis and assessment, and useful non-technical strategies to help children, parents and teachers. In terms of potential interventions, there was emphasis on both home and school settings - the typical locations where addressing ADHD matters most. As expected from the course title, this offering does not cover pediatric-specialist topics such as pharmacologic management. The material is highly recommended for both laypeople and clinical professionals.

The course, "ADHD: Everyday Strategies for Elementary Students", was very informative! Having the powerpoint slides to read and review were a huge help. Providing all the links to various websites for creating behavior documents. I would recommend this class to anyone who would like more information about ADHD and behavior modification in the classroom. My biggest take-away . . . tying home/schools rewards to home and a "bonus" rewards at home, NOT punishments or taking-away things.

I have been working with Elementary level student for about 10 years as a curriculum specialist. This course is a great experience for me. This gives me new insight over diverse elementary school learners. Course materials are well organized and very suitable for any level learners. It's very essential for all the practitioners engaged in Elementary education, I think. Deep gratitude and regards to the course designers and service providers.

This course has indeed been very practical. It gave me access to useful tools for diagnosis. It helped me understand how a diagnosis can be made. It also helped me understand strategies that are empirically driven to deal with children with ADHD on a day to day basis. Professor Gregory is simply clear and to the point and is amazing at delivering concepts! Thank you Sir, it was a pleasure to have this learning experience with you..!!

As a parent of a very ADHD child and a teacher, this course really made me understand my child's stumbling blocks and that I was one of his stumbling blocks. My wife and I have implemented so many of these ideas and can see a glimmer of hope. I am also looking forward to implementing some of these ideas in my classroom. Yes these strategies are for elementary students but I am going to implement them in my highschool class

As an academic tutor, I found this course extremely helpful in developing strategies to make each tutoring session beneficial to my students. The instructor was easy to understand and the fact I could create my own notebook from slides provided by the instructor was a definite plus. I am definitely going to pass on many of the strategies I learned and resource sites given to me to my affected parents and caregivers

Practical, actionable strategies to use with ADHD students. The course is straght forward and succinct. Some stategies, like offering enough tme for new tasks and breaking tasks into easy steps, can even be applied to overall classoom practice to benefit all students. I reccomend this course to anyone looking to better accomodate ADHD children, whether at home or at school.

This is a great course, It teaches the Parent how to deal with ADHD, and it's better for the child with an understanding parent. Children need their Parents to help them with life's challenges and difficult world. Children are young adults. They are not mind readers. This helps the adult how to address exactly how they want the child to act instead of abusing them.

A simple yet concise and clear summary of how to recognize a child with ADHD as well as what to do once you have identified that you are blessed with this challenge in your classroom. Highly recommended for both parents and teachers.
The strategies discussed in this course are excellent as general teaching and parenting strategies as well.

Very useful! I would suggest this course for parents and school staff alike. It is truly is empowering as a parent to be able to speak the same lingo as the school and work as a cohesive team rather than feeling like I am being talked around. Having this class under my belt allowed me to be a better advocate for my child.

I had a good experience with the course in its totality. Something that stuck out to me the most is how a lot of the resources and strategies presented can be put into use right away. I believe this practical touch is important to build a clear path between the learning experience and the everyday use of this knowledge.
