Nick Harauz is a seasoned video producer, editor, educator, and creative technologist with over two decades of experience at the intersection of visual storytelling, emerging technology, and education. Based in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, he helps brands, creators, and learners communicate ideas with clarity, emotion, and impact - always with story at the center. His career spans post-production, motion graphics, photography, and creative training, collaborating with creative teams, educators, and global brands on narrative-driven video content for social platforms, conferences, and learning environments. His work is defined by a belief that technology should enhance creativity, not replace it. In recent years his focus has expanded into generative AI and emerging media technologies, exploring how AI can responsibly support creative workflows - streamlining processes, accelerating ideation, and improving efficiency - while maintaining human judgment and storytelling integrity. He applies this through his FINDS framework, which emphasizes fueling, igniting, nurturing, defending, and sharing ideas with a critical-thinking mindset, enabling creators to adopt AI tools without losing their creative voice. A long-standing LinkedIn Learning Instructor, Nick has spent nearly a decade teaching video editing, generative AI for video, and creative thinking, and has served as an Avid, Apple, and Adobe Trainer. From 2021 to 2025 he was Director of Product Marketing at Boris FX. He is the author of the Apple Motion 5 Cookbook, a member of ASFAI, and an active speaker at industry events including NAB, Adobe MAX, and DOC Toronto.
