Laxmeesha Somappa received his PhD from IIT Bombay and Master’s degree from IIT Madras. He was a visiting scholar at Cambridge University, UK, and was a post-doctoral fellow at EPFL, Switzerland, and Centre for Neuroprosthetics, Geneva. Prior to this, he was associated with Tata Elxsi and Qualcomm Bangalore. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay, where he works on neural interface SoCs, Sigma Delta ADCs, and neuromorphic computing.
