Student Experience

Your fellow students come from diverse backgrounds. Most have industry experience of their own and some have recently earned an undergraduate degree. Your peers will have academic and professional experience in computer science, engineering, and applied science. You’ll also encounter learners from other STEM fields and those with credentials in social sciences or the humanities.  In general, you will be surrounded by others who are highly analytical, self-motivated, and adept with technical and quantitative subject matter.

What’s it like to earn your MS-CS degree through Coursera?

This master’s program from CU Boulder is a fully online experience. The interactive and engaging platform will allow you to access courses and learn from anywhere. With a flexible schedule and pre-recorded lecture videos, you’ll also choose when you do your coursework. You’ll be able to ask questions about the material being covered in the program during regular office hours held by course facilitators. Plus, you can take advantage of additional opportunities for dialogue and connection through discussion boards and group sessions with peers.
