The University of Michigan offers an online Master of Public Health in Population and Health Sciences, taught by the same faculty who teach on-campus. Utilizing Coursera's platform, the program features interactive video transcripts, in-course note-taking, and multi-device learning. Students can maintain their professional lives while applying new knowledge directly to their roles. The curriculum includes live virtual classes, group projects, and online office hours, with coursework designed to fit into busy schedules, including during commutes. The degree also requires an applied practice experience, where students collaborate with partners to create useful community projects, integrating their academic learning with practical application.
The MPH program consistently receives high praise from students for its quality and flexibility. In our most recent cohort, exit surveys show an impressive 9 out of 10 for overall satisfaction and an even more remarkable 9.3 out of 10 for the likelihood of recommending the program. These figures speak volumes about the program's impact on students and their preparedness to excel in the field of public health.
