The MADS program is fully developed, taught, and administered by the University of Michigan. The University of Michigan leverages Coursera’s online education platform to deliver the program curriculum, allowing MADS students to benefit from Coursera features such as interactive video transcription, in-course note taking, and seamless learning across multiple devices.

As a MADS student, you are able to learn on your schedule and on the device of your choice. Courses are made up of modules that can be completed during commutes or other short periods of spare time. Technical assignments are cloud hosted and often enable students to get immediate feedback. Courses include supplementary readings, video lectures, assignments, and discussions on Slack. You’ll develop hands-on skills using a multidisciplinary approach embedded in information, computer science, economics, and statistics.
