Getting started with CCSP certification

To get your start with the CCSP certification, it’s important to go into the exam with adequate experience and skills for success. In order to qualify for the exam, you must have a minimum of five years of experience working in information technology, with three of those years being in information security. Additionally, one of those years must be within one of the six domains of the CCSP exam, which include: cloud concepts, architecture, and design, cloud data security, cloud platform and infrastructure security, cloud application security, cloud security operations, and legal, risk, and compliance.

To add to your work experience to help you prepare for the CCSP exam, training options are available from ISC2, whether that’s self-study material like textbooks, study guides, and practice tests, or more formal options, such as instructor-led classroom training and seminars. You can also prepare for the exam by completing the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Specialization delivered by Pearson.
