I have completed the first course of the three-course series and attempted the knowledge test of Module 1 of the second course. Now, I do not intend to continue studying this course series. A major flaw of the series is that the student is overburdened with reading complex research papers and other online resources. Also, some of the online videos, prescribed for watching, are very long, some with a time span exceeding an hour. Better if short videos of maximum 20 minutes having good script are included in the course. For the student, it would have been far easier to acquire the learning that the instructor intended to impart, had most of the prescribed reading been converted into properly scripted video lectures. The instructor has given very few lectures. Unfortunately, his video lectures leave a lot to be desired as far as good script and proper topic explanations are concerned. One more major flaw of the three-course series is that it is touted as to be undertaken by the beginners. However, I am afraid that a beginner to neuroscience has the aptitude and patience to repeatedly pore over the complex research papers and other resources so as to be able to assimilate the required learning from the prescribed reading.

Too much focus on external materials (podcasts, research papers that are also available on Youtube).
