Extremely helpful if you want to start using Raspberry Pi. Gives you the required knowledge to kickstart your Raspberry Pi learning and you get a hint of python programming as well which is useful

It was very good, all the basics about python and the raspberry pi platform. I would like if you publish a book to read about the topics, for example I have been reading the book "Think Python".

Professor Harris does a good job overall, but he does not explain Python syntax in depth. I audited the course and found it quite simple. However, I recommend a paid subscription to get the most out of it.

The course and the specialization are great for complete beginers, but WAY TOO BASIC for engineers or students who has at least finished 3 semesters at any western uni.

The course provides the right platform to folks who are newbie to python and gives meaningful information for development on Raspberry Pi

Very well done (3 stars so I know I have completed the lectures but not the work, will change after completing assignments)

It would have been great if the course delved deeper into the Raspberry PI board specifics rather than brushing up Python.

It is very good explained but it is just an small introduction about how to use the Raspberry Pi in a IoT framework.

would have been better without the professor. He just read slides of the reading material that contained errors

I purchased a Raspberry Pi 3B+ for over $100 as an additional expense, but in the end, the only thing I really learned was how to control an LED, which left me very disappointed. Most of the content was simply an "Introduction to Linux and Python." The peer-review assignments were as follows: Module 1: Connect the Raspberry Pi to a monitor and take a photo of the screen as evidence. Module 2: Take a screenshot of the Raspberry Pi and upload the image. Module 3: Write Python code to sort integer values. Module 4: Create a circuit that lights up an LED while a button is pressed and makes it blink when not pressed, then upload a video. The peer-review assignments for the NEXT COURSE are as follows: Module 1: Write a document explaining the difference between the TCP and IP protocols. Module 2: Write a simple web server program using Python's Socket that returns a fixed response. Module 3: Write a program using Python's http.client to GET a specified web page and output a few lines. Module 4: Create a circuit that changes the brightness of an LED at regular intervals and upload a video. The content is almost an "Introduction to Networking," and for someone with a basic understanding of networks, there is no further development.

Good lecture and content. However, disappointing that even when I audit the course, I cannot take the exams. This is contrary to most of the other Coursera courses where you can. If you cannot afford to participate you have limited access to the testing material. I'm not impressed.

Overall this Course is good, but this is very basic course for Raspberry Pi. This course would have been best if more complex things would have been taught eg. Advance Raspberry Pi.
