In terms of mere content and my personal interest in the topic, five stars. One star subtraction for the sometimes clunky English at the test sections that made it a bit hard to understand what the exact question really refers to. Neither the instructor, nor me are English native speakers, so I am forgiving to some extentm but written questions in a test should be stated in proper language. On some occasions, I would have appreciated a deep dive into the technicalities a little further: more complex explain plans, specific hints etc.

Some good points in various topics. Good starting point for learners. Yet the course might improve by including more use cases and increase breadth and depth of db tuning.

He does cover the foundational and important aspects of the topic, so if you are looking for beginner-level course, then this might be acceptable, but be aware it only scratches the surface of this very wide and complex topic. Moreover, the instructor's delivery is sometimes unclear, which makes it difficult to follow along and his PowerPoint slides contain errors. Overall, the course falls short in presentation and the content is light, but for someone new to the topic, just dipping her/his toes in the water, this will cover some of the main and areas and could serve as a good introduction.
