The Course represents a good starting point for everyone who want to use containers, however, i think it could be better if there were more hands on labs.

Very good introduction to the basic concepts of Containerization and Kubernetes. Good examples to get a starting feel on how to work with such tools

The content has a few ordering issues and some of it wasn't all that great. Not a lot of depth is covered, and, due to that lack of depth, some of the assignments and content choices do not feel consistent. In spite of those issues, I would probably have rated this 4 stars if not for the soulless, robotic lecture voice. If every class in the world was taught in that voice, we might all freely choose ignorance.

Dated courseware that requires updates to reflect the latest K8s capabilities e.g. as of 2022 Docker is no longer the Container engine. Additionally, a lot of arbitrary low-level definitions provided without providing the background first e.g. I found the 2 sections on Kubernates Objects pointless ... It may make more sense to teach those later ... or add context

The information provided only gives a superficial overview of the topics and cannot fully help in understanding them. Additionally, a lack of real-world problems that can be solved using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift is present.

Not so beginner friendly, this course is just like reading a book.

Don't waste your time. This course is useless. Those who aren't very knowledgeable about it won't find anything new, while those who aren't will likely not understand why it's necessary and won't learn anything. It's just a collection of short videos made from slides with an AI narration. It's not pleasant to listen to. The information is pure theory, terms, commands, and so on. There are no examples of why all this is necessary or in what real-world situations it should be used. Labs: copy a line from one half of the screen and paste it on the other half. I completed two levels and couldn't take any more.

Horrible course. Basically it's just a text-to-speech engine that reads a lot of dense information without any concrete use case. If you enjoy learning a bunch of command line prompts and program vocabulary by heart, this one is for you. If you want actually to learn how and when to use Docker and Kubernetes, look somewhere else.

It didn't meet my expectations. On the one hand, the videos are slides with the voice of an AI, where concepts are poured out without deep explanations. On the other hand, tasks consist of executing given commands, making some changes, and seeing the results. It is not a suitable course for deploying containers in real-life jobs.

Minimal efforts are put while creating the whole course. All I heard was a robotic voice going over all concepts recklessly. I don't think this is a very digestible content and I still don't feel very confident applying the concepts I learned. Disappointed by IBM..

The introduction to Docker and Kubernetes is rather short and shallow. The remainder of the course focuses on a very buggy and slow web UI to manage Kubernetes, which seems completely unnecessary. I recommend to use the official Kubernetes tutorials instead.

The IA generated instructor's voice sounds unreal. As a consequence, keeping long time attention is difficult for me. More than something academic, it sounds as if you were watching a commercial.

This a horrible course! The speaker is a pain to listen to, the content is read off a text book much too fast...

I could not finish the course because of failures in openshift web console app. It never worked when trying to open the lab for per grade assignment.

This is a copy paste from a corporate training.
There was not even a real professor but it was just an AI voice over of slides.

This course was very helpful and informative. I learned a lot through this course, especially the core concepts of Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. The lessons clearly explained how containers work and how these technologies are used in real industry environments. The hands-on labs made it easier to understand practical use cases such as building container images, deploying applications, and managing them using Kubernetes and OpenShift. Overall, this course provided a strong foundation in containerization and modern DevOps practices. I highly recommend this course to students and beginners who want to learn container technologies with practical, real-world examples.
