Very worthwhile course to attend. My EXCEL skills have improved greatly in my day to day work. Prof Joseph is an excellent lecturer and explains formulas very clearly.

The course is very good and the teacher very knowledgeable but if you are a beginner you may struggle with the assignments.

Professor Cutrone is Fantastic. I enjoyed the course thoroughly. Although Final Project the instructions can be made better. But overall the project is straight to the point. I wish Professor Cutrone does more Business Analytics related courses with Excel and Math specially designed for Business.

Exercises ask a bit more than what was is delivered on the classes. To some degree is good to learn by researching, but on the other hand can be disappointing with the student is not willing to go an look for different answers elsewhere.

it will be nice if there is solutions given after every quiz as we could learn from it in what other way we could approach the same problem

Overall its very good course, what I really hated was that after assignment lets assume student couldnt understand how to complete it at all, in this case course doesnt provide separate video solution for unsolved assignment if this would be fixed it will be really helpful

there is only one demerit that student can not clear their doubts virtually with a teacher, i request coursera to have doubt sessions after each class,

There where some cases when the video has a simple example but the quiz was more complicate

Too cramped, too fast paced, no Excel pre-prepared templates, feels rushed and too complicated. Bad audio editing, almost no pauses, lecturer has no idea how to present ideas clearly. While it's free, you can play arround, but if it will be paid - absolutelly not recommended.

After putting considerable time into the lessons and passing all the assignments, you need to purchase a certificate. If you want a certificate to prove you have mastered the course material you must pay: the course is not free!!!

Most of this course was review for me, but still I learned new things, such as different ways to set up a problem. I liked the course's focus on real-world examples. I do a lot of optimization analysis in my practice, and this course provided many case-studies to practice on, which was great. One of my biggest real-life frustrations is using Excel with really large data sets. I've found I can overcome many of Excel's limitations by using its suites of Data Modeling, Data Streaming, and Power features, but I'm not an expert in them, and would like to learn more. Granted, that would considerably lengthen the course, and I understand you have to draw the line somewhere, but if a few examples and problems could be squeezed in, I think it really would be beneficial. But overall, this course was terrific. Well done!

All the modules were very insightful with quizzes to review and improve what you have learned. I gained a lot of skills and the anlytical thinking method through this course. However, I do find that some practice examples are more towards American (for example: you will have to know what places are included in California). I hope this can be changed so that the course is more friendly to all and learners will only be focusing on the technical stuff only. Another thing is I wish there were videos reviewing the graded quiz. Eventhough there are feedbacks but the graded quiz are generally more difficult than the practice examples and learners still have several difficuties solving them.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how informative this course was... I've taken graduate level courses that weren't as productive! There was one issue with the provided solution/Excel document for the final project: The column to the right of the decision variables regarding which manager is assigned to which project should be =SUMPRODUCT (so as to link the manager/project eligibility table with the decision variable table) instead of =SUM. Note that this error in the solution document was discussed in the Discussions tab in the course page. Other than this mistake, the course was SPOT ON good, lots of informative information in regards to how to solve complex logistics problems.

This course just send me back to school, the abilty of getting me understand mathematical formulas with ease in your videos is unmatched. Thank you so much, this has increased my earning potential, with the Application of Goal Seek, trendlines and conditional formatiing to predict revenue, Modelling Net Present Value (NPV) to determine whether you can or can not proceed your investment with much clear details, Lastly the best skill i learned and enjoyed the most since this applied with my line of work the Linear and Non-Linear programming as a manager this is the best tool that one can use to maximizing profit or minimizing cost.
