Michele Giannola is a Research Fellow at the University of Naples Federico II and CSEF, and an International Research Associate at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Bocconi University, an M.Sc. in Economics from UCL, and a Ph.D. in Economics from UCL. Michele’s research focuses on human capital accumulation in developing countries, combining theoretical models with experimental and quasi-experimental data in order to inform the design of effective public policies. He is currently working on several impact evaluations of early childhood development programs, parenting interventions and teacher professional development programs in Colombia, India, and Palestine.
