Dr. Tina Lasisi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Michigan, specializing in the measurement of human traits such as skin color, hair texture, and facial morphology to understand their genetic and evolutionary origins and how they change throughout a person's life. Her work involves developing novel laboratory methods and image analysis programs that automate these measurements, significantly impacting dermatology, forensics, and biometric technologies such as facial recognition.
