Transform Your Nursing Career with the RN to BSN degree from UMass Global

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) degree from UMass Global is designed for registered nurses seeking to upgrade their career and future. Tailored for RNs holding an associate degree in nursing, the UMass Global RN to BSN builds upon your nursing practice skills and experience, preparing you for the next step in your career. CCNE-accredited online coursework explores all aspects of nursing, from patient outcomes to community health issues, from leadership and management to healthcare reform. There is a worldwide shortage of nurses with bachelor’s degrees, and that makes for an excellent job market. Plus, your BSN opens career doors to leadership and management roles in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

Earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing offers numerous benefits for registered nurses and for hospitals. In addition to lessening the bachelor-trained nurse shortage, hospitals with a high percentage of BSN-prepared nurses have better health outcomes (Penn LDI, 2022). Emphasis in your coursework is placed on the professional nursing role, including patient-centered care, use of technology, improving outcomes, and innovative leadership, while using evidence as a foundation for best practice.
